How are you on mytalents.ai Have you become aware and what prompted you to become a course instructor with us?
It all began during my trip around the world in 2023: Together with my partner Jasmin Flick, I founded an online coaching company for personal finance & investing for women.
It is true that more and more women today are aware that they need to make private provisions and manage their finances. At the latest when looking at the pension statement, this becomes painfully clear to everyone. Nevertheless, many find it difficult to implement it — that is exactly what we want to change and support.
The fact that we were able to start right away with the latest AI tools is a huge stroke of luck! In this way, we can simply do a lot more as a couple and can make our coaching sessions much better for our customers and implement them. By jumping into investing, they achieve much more financial security and freedom.
When Florian contacted me via LinkedIn and we spoke for the first time, I immediately knew that it was a great fit! We got on well from the start and I noticed that we could develop and implement many ideas together.
What do you particularly like about our concept and what makes it different mytalents.ai from other learning platforms?
What I particularly like about mytalents.ai is the focus on actual use cases and on common tasks. Our learners can choose exactly the courses that offer them the most added value in their daily work.
This means that the whole topic of AI does not remain theoretical and “clumsy”, but we want to directly show the benefits and how you can save yourself a lot of time and annoying work with a few simple tools and instructions.
I also see this as the greatest added value for companies, because their employees can get started right away with the latest tools — tailored to various areas such as marketing, sales or finance, which already exist in the vast majority of companies.
So you don't need months of training or an intensive strategy process until AI makes certain departments more productive or relieves them. I also love working with the mytalents.ai team because we can discuss topics on equal terms and implement them really quickly — that's a lot of fun!
Which courses do you offer on mytalents.ai and what makes them particularly valuable for learners?
Oh, that's a whole lot now: D I offer courses on creating presentations with AI, using ChatGPT in administration and various functions in the financial sector such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, ChatGPT alternatives such as Claude or Mistral, and the recognition of image and video deepfakes in a corporate context.
I am particularly proud of my “AI for Managers” course, which shows executives various dimensions of change in the age of AI and what this means for their companies and teams. Together, we are all still at the very beginning of far-reaching changes — and we should prepare ourselves for that.
Where do you prefer to use AI yourself and where do you use AI in the business sector?
I'm trying to develop an “AI First Mindset.” With every task, I ask myself the question: Could it be easier or faster with an AI tool or approach?
This is particularly worthwhile for frequently recurring, time-consuming, or really annoying tasks. I see the two biggest advantages in these two points:
1. I don't have to type everything myself anymore.
2. I no longer start with a blank page or “from scratch.”
That sounds completely banal at first, but it brings an insane leap in productivity!
This is also where I find the current wave of AI tools most helpful: In merging or structuring information from various sources, in transcribing speech, in adapting formatting or exchanging formats, and in developing my own ideas.
Are there any specific tools that you particularly appreciate?
I love ChatGPT! The tool is incredibly flexible and incredibly helpful for a wide range of tasks.
I also have around 10 tools that I regularly use as a freelancer, such as Perplexity for online research, TL; DV for transcribing meetings, Tome for creating presentations, or Canva Pro for creating marketing material.
What advice would you give to companies that are thinking about using AI?
The most important thing is to define a clear objective first. What exact problem do I have right now and how do I want to solve it?
AI is a wonderful solution for certain areas of application and challenges. However, it is not always effective and does not make sense in every constellation. With all the enthusiasm for AI and the proven benefits, a tool does not replace the strategy and development of your own company.
How do you see the future development of AI in education, and what role will mytalents.ai Play while doing it?
Our world is accelerating. That was the case even before generative AI, but now there's a shovel on top of that. This will lead to more frequent disruption and that companies, business models and entire societies will change more quickly.
At the same time, we are very fortunate to live longer and be healthier for longer. That is why we must become much more open and modern when it comes to the qualification and continuing education of adults — “lifelong learning,” so to speak. It's pretty rare today for me to complete an apprenticeship or study and then remain in the same position for 40 to 50 years.
AI has the amazing advantage here that I can learn a lot of topics myself and learn with support. And that at my pace, at my interests, at the time I want, and in formats in which I can learn best.
mytalents.ai is already at the forefront of this development and I am delighted to be making my contribution to it. And as I've met the team, everyone is working super hard to make new approaches available for content and the development of the learning experience!
What are your plans for the future on mytalents.ai, and what new topics are you planning to cover in your courses?
There are a few... With SearchGPT, OpenAI's own search engine has already been announced and that would really appeal to me, even compared to other AI research tools such as Perplexity or You.com. I can also very well imagine expanding my “AI for Managers” course a bit and adding further modules if necessary.
After all, AI is more than just a technology! It fundamentally changes how we work and live, and these change processes must be moderated and managed.
Thank you so much for the interview!
