Nev, how involved were you with AI before you came across mytalents.ai?

With the advent of ChatGPT, artificial intelligence could be found in all media. Of course, you can't help but deal with the topic. As a parent in particular, you ask yourself how AI will change education and the working world. I'm already excited to see how my children will learn and work in the future. The AI courses on your platform finally got the ball rolling: The entry-level course on large language models has finally sparked my interest.

We're happy about that. We're also certain that AI will bring a few more surprises and changes. What benefits have already been gained from using artificial intelligence in your day-to-day work?

In every job, there are tasks that are a lot of fun and some that you would like to give up. I can delegate monotonous work to AI that eats up time, but with which I can't really create added value. This allows me to focus my energy on new ideas. With the help of artificial intelligence, I really save 3 to 5 hours of time per week.

Someone once said, “I want AI to do annoying tasks so I can be creative.” According to your report, that's probably true. What tasks are you handing over to AI?

I simply list which tasks the AI does for me: writing, summarizing and revising texts, creating training materials and joint e-learning brainstorming sessions. In these cases, I prefer and best to work with AI.

Would you like to take this opportunity to introduce us to your most successful AI use case?

I'd love to. I have been commissioned to create an e-learning training course. To do this, I have to plan many different intermediate steps. I've tried to include AI as much as possible. The first step was brainstorming with the AI on the given topic. Then the structuring of the collected ideas and a process plan for how I best create the training. The AI solved all these tasks brilliantly. Analyzing my existing training methods and offering alternatives was very easy for AI. As a result, I was able to complete the training in half the time and learned a lot myself.

Nev, we're really happy that you're so efficient in using AI and that it makes your work easier. Which AI tools do you use?

That really depended on the task. I prefer to use: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Leonardo.ai. But I'm curious to see which AI tools are still coming onto the market. I'm definitely open to testing new ones.

Have you already faced challenges?

In the beginning, my prompts were simple and inaccurate. I quickly typed something into the context window and was disappointed when the correct result didn't come out immediately. However, thanks to the newly acquired knowledge of AI courses and lots of practice, practice, this is no longer a problem.

What tips do you have for AI beginners who are not so experienced in using it so far?

Acquire basic knowledge first. Beginner courses are really good for getting an overview. With a strong foundation, you can finally get started and experiment a lot. There comes a time when you're happy because you get really good results. All you need is a bit of creativity.

Would you like to tell us which new skills you were able to gain through AI?

Working with AI has led me to look at ideas, concepts, and suggestions from different angles. As a result, I was able to expand my wealth of ideas. The AI also helps me to analyze and validate them right away. This gives me a good sense of which ideas I should pay more attention to.

Are there any other courses that you would like to take or would you like to see specific courses on the mytalents.ai platform?

The selection is so extensive that I am currently satisfied. However, I will be looking at a few more courses on the platform soon: Prompting for advanced users and automation with AI.
